Making a Thing That Holds a Thing

Our Innovation Lab offers students many opportunities to create and make, fail and succeed.
Check out the results of our eighth graders' latest iLab project! Their prompt for this design challenge was to "make a thing that holds a thing." They chose things to hold, measured their dimensions using calipers, designed holders using the website Tinkercad, and finally printed them with a 3D printer. The results included holders for whiteboard markers, a remote, a foam soccer ball, and more!
