Join us for a summer of adventure in the City by the Bay. Sign up for campCDS, our summer camp for students in Preschool-Grade 6.
At campCDS, children learn to love their city and become compassionate community members, building a strong connection to San Francisco and each other. Grades 1-6 campers explore the city’s vibrant neighborhoods, rich history, and creative culture. Whether they’re tasting and cooking up local flavors, creating art inspired by Bay Area activists, building their own computer, filming a short movie in the Mission, or hopping on Muni to uncover hidden landmarks, every day is an adventure. Back on the Children’s Day School campus, our preschool and kindergarten campers build community through hands-on exploration in our farm and garden, rooftop playground, and classrooms, with fun weekly themes from sensory science to art and music!
campCDS is open to the public, including all current and incoming CDS students, and serves students from preschool to Grade 6. campCDS is led by Children’s Day School faculty and our trusted community partners. Camp runs weekly from June 22 to August 7. Most camps are one-week sessions. Sign up for just one week, or join us for the whole summer! All camps begin and end at Children’s Day School, located at 333 Dolores Street in San Francisco. Camp starts at 8:00am and ends at 3:00pm, or you can extend your camper's day to 5:30pm.
