Come Together: The Campaign for CDS

    • ECP Expansion View 2

Come Together Community Phase - Planning & Timeline headboard3

"For nearly 40 years, every big decision and ambitious goal has been made and accomplished by all of us — families, teachers, staff, and school leaders. That’s how CDS works and part of what we all love so much. It’s how we’ve created the thriving, inclusive, and progressive school we are today."

We are again at such a turning point when we are called to help secure our school’s physical and financial future — not just for ourselves but for those who will come tomorrow.

At some schools, it’s a few families that make the difference in a campaign like this, but at CDS everyone does. So many families have already invested their time, ideas, and support for this next CDS chapter. Progress towards our goals is under way with nearly $14M raised, but it will take all of us working together to raise another $500,000 to reach our goal of $14.5M!

We invite you to be a part of this exciting chapter and join in by making a gift or pledge. Because every gift of every size really matters at CDS not just financially but because we are a place that moves forward together.

For today and tomorrow, we have launched the Come Together campaign to invest in:

Our Physical Future:
A new ECP Center, Yard Redesign,
and Rooftop Deck

This campaign transforms a necessary step — replacing the 25-year-old “temporary” bungalows — into an incredible opportunity for our entire school.
Our Financial Future:
An Endowment for
Mission-Driven Resilience

After the previously unimaginable challenges of 2020, now more than ever, the need for financial resilience is evident.

At some schools, it’s a few families that make the difference in a campaign like this, but at ours everyone does. So many families have already invested their time, ideas, and support for this next CDS chapter. Progress towards our goals is under way, but it will take all of us working together to finish what we’ve started. As new families join our community and as children grow from one grade to the next, we hope everyone will feel invited and excited to join in. Because every gift of every size really matters at CDS not just financially but because we are a place that moves forward together.

Generations of CDS families have left this school better than they found it. For our children, for their teachers, and for the difference this school makes in our lives today and through our graduates tomorrow, let’s inspire each to come together.

Please reach out to Jeanna Yoo, Director of Advancement, or one of our Campaign Ambassadors to learn more about how you can get involved.
