Library and Community Center

Community Library & Center for Inquiry
Located in the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco’s Columbia Park Clubhouse, the Community Library and Center for Inquiry is a unique partnership between Children's Day School and the Columbia Park Clubhouse with a shared goal of expanding learning opportunities for youth and the educators who teach them by sharing resources, collaborating on projects, and developing programming that brings our communities together to inquire, explore, create, and learn. Our collection boasts over 8,000 print and digital resources that reflect diverse perspectives and offer young people the opportunity to see themselves and their surroundings through mirrors, windows, and sliding glass doors.

Our programming has included San Francisco Public Library Scholar Card partnership, student-driven middle school book clubs, children’s book author visits with Yangsook Choi and Kyle Lukoff, after school early literacy activities and exploration with the youngest Boys & Girls clubhouse members, Drag Queen Story Hour, and more.
