Calling all budding painters, builders, poets, farmers, scientists, engineers, athletes, chefs, coders, philosophers, and more! Children’s Day School Summer Camp is your destination for inventive, collaborative and, most importantly, fun summer learning.
For preschool-aged students, we offer five sessions of camp: four two-week sessions and then a final one-week session to close out the summer. Nine one-week sessions, with various camps and themes available for each week, are offered to elementary and middle school campers.
Preschool and elementary camps are held on our founding campus, a beautiful and secure acre of land across from historic Mission Dolores. This sunny campus, featuring one of the largest outdoor playgrounds in the city plus a farm and organic garden (complete with chickens and sheep), provides children with a safe place to be themselves, play freely, and explore the natural environment. Middle school camps are held at our 601 Dolores campus, featuring a rooftop garden, innovation lab, working kitchen, science classrooms, and performance space.
CDS Summer Camp is open to the entire community, in addition to all current and incoming CDS students. For preschool, community students must be at least four years old to attend.
