Started in 2002 as a way for parents to visit informally with one another, Friday morning "coffee in the yard" has become a popular tradition with CDS parents and members of the faculty and administration. Weather permitting, parents and PTTA officers host these casual weekly get-togethers to give people a chance, after dropping off their children, to catch up with one another and chat. There's no particular agenda, just good conversation.
